On April 1, 2003, British Columbia Ferry Corporation, one of the largest ferry transportation companies in the world, moved from a Crown Corporation to an independent entity – British Columbia Ferry Services Inc. KADG were engaged to design and manage a new brand identity and implement the change. Working closely with the BC Ferries identity committee, our team delivered a successful launch and implementation program, providing research, design, specifications for all key touch points, project management and a comprehensive web-based brand identity management system. In addition, the KADG environmental graphic design division provided the design and implementation of key ferry terminal branding and wayfinding signage for the exterior and interior. All vessel livery markings were designed and comprehensive specifications were provided for yard implementation.
