CBC Radio-Canada – Vancouver
KADG have been engaged by CBC Radio-Canada since 2003 to integrate a more cohesive branding program at key facility/studio sites.
1. Edmonton’s Sir Winston Churchill Square store front location
2. Calgary’s Memorial Drive facility
3. Vancouver’s renovation at Georgia Street main studio facility
4. Prince Rupert storefront location
5. St. John’s, Newfoundland main studio facility
A real estate development deal with Concord allowed the CBC Vancouver studio site to be completely renovated with expanded studio space for radio and television programming. KADG were engaged to provide a comprehensive site branding program. Exterior illuminated brand elements as well as electronic message centres were incorporated into the branding plan. A changeable program promotional poster system and frequency identities were also displayed at key zones within the site. The new CBC studios will open in the summer of 2009.
